Documentary of 35 minutes.
In 1932 after years of quarrels about the territorial rights of Great Chaco between Bolivia and Paraguay, a fatal war burst between the two nations. The territorial conflict was encouraged by the transnational oil companies already installed in the zone of large oil reservoirs. The indigenous populations are sent to defend the fatherland. Nearly 100 000 soldiers died in the trenches of the deserted territory of Great Chaco.
